Day 1 (LD): Fly over the Great Barrier Reef to Cape York. Visit the Lockerbie Scrub before taking an emotional walk to the very top of Australia, CAPE YORK! Camp on Torres Strait shore.
Day 2 (BLD): South to Fruit Bat Falls for lunch and a refreshing swim. Continue through Cape York’s unique wilderness to our overnight camp.
Day 3 (BLD): Across the Wenlock and Pascoe Rivers (conditions permitting) to Iron Range National Park, Australia’s largest remaining area of tropical lowland rainforest. Camp at Chili Beach.
Day 4 (BLD): Visit Portland Roads and see other secrets hidden in the Iron Range rainforest. Leave through Tozers Gap and visit Batavia gold fields. Camp at Archer River.
Day 5 (BLD): South to Coen then on to the historic telegraph station of Musgrave. Continue to Jowalbinna, an epicentre for Quinkan Rock Art over 30,000 years old in picturesque sandstone valleys. Camp at Jowalbinna tonight.
Day 6 (BLD): A morning rock art exploration, delving into the traditional lives of the region’s first inhabitants. Travel to historic Cooktown and walk where Captain Cook once walked, enjoy Grassy Hill's spectacular views and relive the gold rush days strolling past heritage buildings. We camp near Cooktown tonight.
Day 7 (BL): Black Mountain and the Lion's Den Hotel before the Bloomfield Track and Cape Tribulation, weather permitting. The Daintree rainforest before arriving in Cairns.

Pick-up and Drop-off Details
- Departs: Regional Pacific Airlines (Jetstar Terminal), Cairns Airport at 7:00am – flight times to be confirmed. Guests are to make their own way to the airport. A Wilderness Challenge representative will be at the airport to assist with a group check-in.
- Returns: Port Douglas / Beaches / Cairns hotels from approximately 5:00pm
